Sales Rep — First Visit Playbook (EN / ES)
Goal of Visit #1: make a strong first impression, drop high-impact samples, capture mobile + email, and secure a follow-up appointment to review what they buy and deliver an aggressive quote.
English — What to do on Visit #1
- Mindset: You are a supply partner, not a “vendor.” Calm, professional, short.
- Opening: “I’m not here for a big order today. I want to understand how you purchase and see if we can simplify and save you money.”
- Discovery: Who buys? Who do they buy from? How often? Biggest issue (price / availability / delivery / quality)?
- Samples: Drop max 3 premium samples (paper / liners / gloves). One sentence each: quality + price position.
- Non-negotiable: Get mobile + email so promotions + catalog reach them immediately.
- Close: Schedule the follow-up: “Best time for a 10-minute review — Tuesday AM or Thursday PM?”
After the Visit — Templates + What You Must Leave With
